During the webinar, the BioBIVE consortium introduced the project&#8217;s objectives and presented its innovative approach to developing biodegradable controlled-release platforms for crop protection. The presentation highlighted how encapsulation technologies can enhance the agricultural sector by both protecting bioactive compounds during formulation and processing and enabling their controlled release under field conditions, thereby improving their stability, efficacy and environmental performance.
