AgriBioM participated in the µMED: International Conference on Microplastic Pollution in the Mediterranean Sea, organised by Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (CNR) and the Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II. The conference focused on one of the most pressing environmental challenges of our time: the impact of micro- and nanoplastic pollution on marine and terrestrial ecosystems.

Within this context, AgriBioM presented the relevance of the BioBIVE project, highlighting how the development of biodegradable materials for the controlled-release of agricultural inputs can contribute to reducing the environmental burden associated with conventional plastic-based products.
