Researchers from Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (CNR) represented the BioBIVE Consortium at Didacta Italia 2026, organised by the Istituto Nazionale di Documentazione, Innovazione e Ricerca Educativa (INDIRE). The event is the Italian edition of Didacta International, one of the world’s most established education fairs, held in Germany for more than 60 years. Since 2017, Didacta Italia has transformed Florence into a European reference point for the school of the future, bringing together educators, researchers, institutions and innovators to discuss new approaches to education, science communication and technological development.
The latest edition welcomed more than 700 exhibitors, over 25,000 attendees, 3,081 events and activities distributed across 9 exhibition pavilions, covering a total exhibition area of 50,000 m². During the event, the CNR team presented the BioBIVE project and its multidisciplinary approach to sustainable agriculture, highlighting the integration of marine biotechnology, microbial biotechnology, advanced materials and environmentally friendly crop protection strategies.
