ULE
Universidad de León
The University of León (ULE) is a young, modern public institution committed to its community, with two campuses: one in the city of León and another in Ponferrada. Since its establishment in 1979, it has successfully combined academic tradition with a clear vision for the future, focusing on quality education, research, and innovation. Its academic offerings include a wide range of undergraduate degrees, master’s programs, and doctoral studies, with qualifications tailored to meet the current demands of society and the labor market.
ULE maintains a strong commitment to research, which is channeled through its institutes and more than one hundred research groups that carry out projects in collaboration with businesses, institutions, and international centers. This research activity is further supported through contracts and agreements that promote knowledge transfer and technological innovation. The university also stands out for its international outlook, with agreements with over 300 universities and active participation in networks such as EURECA-PRO. All of this positions the University of León as an open, collaborative academic institution committed to scientific, social, and economic progress.
