European Researchers Night
Naples (Italy) and León (Spain)
26 September 2025

BioBIVE once again joined the European Researchers’ Night 2025, one of Europe’s largest public engagement initiatives dedicated to bringing science closer to society. Held simultaneously in hundreds of cities across the continent, the event opens the doors of universities, museums and research institutions to people of all ages through interactive demonstrations, hands-on workshops, exhibitions and educational activities. Its aim is to foster dialogue between researchers and citizens, inspire future generations of scientists and showcase the impact of European research on everyday life.

During the 2025 edition, partners from the Consiglio Nacionalle Reserche (CNR) en Universidad de León (ULE) represented the BioBIVE consortium, presenting the project’s latest advances to the public. Through engaging activities and discussions, they demonstrated how BioBIVE is developing innovative solutions for sustainable agriculture, highlighting the potential of biodegradable controlled-release technologies and natural bioactive compounds to address current and future challenges facing the agricultural sector.
