BioBIVE participated in the XII Spanish Conference on the EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation – Horizon Europe, organised by CDTI Innovación, one of Spain’s leading events dedicated to European research and innovation. Bringing together representatives from the European Commission, national funding bodies, research organisations, universities, companies and researchers involved in different Horizon Europe projects, the conference provides a valuable platform to discuss future funding opportunities, foster collaboration and showcase successful European initiatives.
During the event, the Spanish Secretary of State for Science, Innovation and Universities, Juan Cruz Cigudosa, visited the BioBIVE stand and spoke with the project coordinator, Carlos Barreiro, expressing his interest in the project’s research. BioBIVE presented its work on biostimulants, natural strategies for plant disease control and innovative approaches to improving soil health, highlighting their potential to contribute to a more sustainable and resilient European agricultural sector.
