Asier Fernández de Añastrovan Centro Tecnológico de Miranda de Ebro (CTME), represented the BioBIVE consortium at the European Bioplastics Conference 2025 (EBC25). The work showcased the latest advances in the development of biodegradable films with bioactive properties for the agricultural sector, carried out within the framework of the BioBIVE project.
The conference brought together experts from academia, industry and policymaking to discuss the latest developments in bioplastics and sustainable materials. Participation in this event provided an excellent opportunity to disseminate BioBIVE’s research, establish new collaborations and highlight the potential of biodegradable polymer-based technologies to support more sustainable agricultural practices.
